This website is owned by Curu Oy (Y-ID: 2853626-1) (“CURU”). Use of the website requires acceptance of all these terms of use and the registry statement.

CURU reserves all rights to the content of the pages. Copying and quoting of page images, texts, page structures is prohibited without Curu Oy’s permission.

CURU’s pages contain links to other pages. CURU is not responsible for the content or security of external pages. We try to check the functionality of our links regularly.

We are not responsible if the www.curu.fi site causes any problems for the visitor. CURU strives to keep the pages it owns in good condition and as safe as possible, and regularly carries out product development and repairs.

4. Purpose of personal data processing

The personal data of the customer register is stored mainly for order processing, billing information, and customer care.

Other secondary reasons for retaining personal data include:

• verification of customer transactions,
• managing customer service and customer relations, e.g. through contact forms,
• enabling services between CURU and its subcontractors,
• customer service and business development,
• marketing,
• analysis and statistics,
• opinion and market research and
  other similar uses.

5. Data content of the register

The register may contain the following information:

• contact information, such as name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses
• registration information, such as username, nickname, password and other possible unique identifier
• age, gender, rank or profession and mother tongue
• customer relationship information product and order information, vendor information, customer feedback and contact information raffle and competition response information
• information related to the implementation of communication and information regarding the use of services, such as browsing and search information
• profiling information collected using cookies and other technologies
• profiling and interest information provided by the customer
• registrations for services and participation, download of guides
• information about newsletter downloads and other marketing preferences
• any permits and consents
• possible supply blocking information
• any other information collected with the customer’s consent

6. Regular sources of information

Information about the customer is regularly obtained from the customer herself / himself via the internet, in writing, by e-mail, form or other similar means, or with the help of cookies and other similar technologies.

7. Regular transfers and transfer of data outside the EU or the European region

Information stored in the register is not, as a rule, disclosed outside the company, nor outside the EU region or the EEA. Data can be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area within the limits allowed by the Personal Data Act.

Information is disclosed to the following parties and in the following cases:

• to the customer herself / himself and the organization she represents
• to subcontractors and partners, such as Curu’s web hotel management, to enable and develop services.
• For CURU’s own marketing use, e.g. customer experiences with the customer’s permission on the website

8. Data retention period

Customer data is stored until it is no longer needed and is destroyed appropriately after that.

9. Principles of registry protection

Our customers’ information is handled confidentially and we use the following methods to protect our customers’ information:

Manual material:
Manually processed materials are properly destroyed after processing

Electronically stored material:
Only employees authorized for their work can access electronically stored customer data. The data is collected in different databases and is protected with complex passwords, encryption methods and behind firewalls. The most important databases are also backed up daily.

10. Rights of the registrant

Basically, we do not collect from customers other than mandatory information to enable customer service, such as contracts.

However, the customer can ask CURU to delete all other information from them, such as e-mails, materials received from them that are no longer needed in the project and other information that is not required to be kept by the current law.
